Distinctive flowers of Canna Copicana are sure to catch the eye as they have a crepe like effect that gives the appearance of having folds on their rich coppery orange blooms.
The unusual garden flowers are elongated and of a medium to large size and they present a bit of yellow colouring in the centre and on the upper throat on the labellum. Whilst the stamen is heavily covered in yellow markings.
Copicana is a medium growing plant with green foliage reaching up to 1.4 meters tall in the garden, to date I have never collected any seed from the cultivar, this is an early hybrid raised by Bernard Yorke.
